250 g of fresh mussels
50 ml of white wine
Chopped fresh parsley
- Before putting them on the grill, you have to clean the mussels. To remove the whiskers, grab them and pull them towards the narrowest part of the shell and down at the same time. Then run them under cold running water and use a small brush to scrape off the shell of the mussel. If any of the mollusks have a broken shell, discard them.
- Put the grill on the fire with the white wine and a few pieces of chilli. When it is hot, add the mussels and let them cook with the steam that is generated for 4-5 minutes, or until they are open.
- Remove from the heat and sprinkle with chopped parsley on top and serve with lemon wedges so that each one can dress them to their liking.
