You don’t have to put meat on grill everytime! Whether as a delicious side dish or for vegetarians and vegans – grilled vegetables are healthy, taste great and offer a variety of options. Zucchini is great as a grilled snack, because the summer squash is low in calories and light and fresh in taste. A delicious grill aroma enriches the taste of the otherwise reserved vegetables. We reveal how the preparation of zucchini works on the grill and we have a delicious recipe in our luggage:


  • 3 zucchini
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1 onion
  • 3 stalks of thyme
  • 2 stalks of mint
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 6 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon of coarse salt
  • pepper


Wash and clean the zucchini and cut them lengthways into slices of equal thickness.
Take onion and peel it and then cut it into fine pieces Also, rinse the herbs, shake them dry and pluck the leaves off.
Put the oil in a small bowl, squeeze the garlic cloves and mix everything with the onion pieces, herbs and lemon juice.
Put the zucchini in the marinade for about two hours and then drain well. Before grilling , you should sprinkle the vegetable slices with salt and pepper. Then they are cooked until the zucchini is golden brown.
